 one day even you regret the distance created by time.
What if you come to speak to me,
only to find that my soul has already fallen silent?

हमें इतना इंतज़ार मत करवाओ कि समय की
दूरियों पर तुम्हें भी अफ़सोस हो जाए।
 क्या बात करने आए और तब तक
 हमारी रूह ही खामोश हो जाए?

ہمیں اتنا انتظار نہ کرواؤ کہ وقت کے
 فاصلے پر تمہیں بھی افسوس ہونے
لگے۔ تم بات کرنے آئے
ہو اور تب تک ہماری روح ہی خاموش ہو جائے?

के फासलों पर तुम्हें भी अफ़सोस हो जाए।
क्या बात करने आए,
और तब तक हमारी रूह ही ख़ामोश हो जाए?

ہم سے اتنا انتظار نہ کرواؤ کہ وقت کے
 فاصلوں پر تمہیں بھی افسوس ہو جائے
۔ تم کس بات کے لیے آئے ہو،
اور تب تک ہماری روح ہی خاموش ہو جائے?

May constant laughter not ruin you;
 in moments of loneliness,
allow yourself to cry sometimes too.

हर वक्त का हंसना तुम्हें बर्बाद न कर दे,
तन्हाई के लम्हों में कभी रो भी लिया करो..

ہر وقت کا ہنسنا تجھے برباد نہ کر دے،
تنہائی کے لمحوں میں کبھی رو بھی لیا کرو..!
